The gear I use

With all the requests I get about gear, here's the definitive collection of all the hardware I use.

I'm not super obsessed with gear, but I do make sure that the things I use are the best for me. Things that allow me to be the most efficient creative I can be.

Hopefully, this list helps inspire your gear choices!

Audio Equipment

For everyone who's curious about the hardware I use in my music production journey, here's a comprehensive link to all the equipment currently in my setup.

Desk setup

My environment is crucial for my creativity, which is why I carefully thought about the design of my workspace. I started by choosing a wooden tabletop with a natural edge from a hardware store and used a Sanodesk frame as the base. I assembled this frame easily and attached a triple monitor stand to it. On this, I mounted my main monitor and two side monitors. Additionally, I installed a camera mount for my camera and lighting. On the side of the desk, I always have my charging station and the interface I use to film my videos, equipped with a microphone and headphones.

Camera

For filming, I use my Canon EOS R for my main shot. If I film away from my desk I use the Blackmagic Cinema Pocket 6K Pro for a cinematic shot.

Lenses

A camera helps but the lens will make the difference. For my Main shot, I use the Samyang 16mm T2.2. When I have more space and I’m on the move I click on the Sigma 24mm 1.8 and for light travel the Canon EF 50mm F1.8. Sometimes when the light conditions are good but I need space I use the Canon EF-S 10-18mm F4.5. All lenses run for all shots with a Cinebloom Filter on top for this I use the Pro Mist Filter 1/4-82mm!
